CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit, but fell to the Arcadia Knights 3-1 in a Middle Atlantic Conference match on Monday night.

FIRST SET NOTES (Arcadia 25, Widener 15)
- Arcadia got off to a hot start, opening a 9-2 lead, forcing a timeout by the Pride.
- Trailing 15-6, Widener battled its way back, scoring six of the next eight points before Arcadia recovered to claim the set.
- Johnson led the way for the Blue and Gold with four assists.

SECOND SET NOTES (Arcadia 25, Widener 5)
- The Knights set the tone early, scoring the first eight points and 13 of the first 15.
- Sungenis had a kill and three digs in the set.

THIRD SET NOTES (Widener 25, Arcadia 23)
- Widener played its best set of the match, trading points early before the Pride opened a 9-6 lead.
- The Blue and Gold held the advantage for the majority of the set before eventually claiming victory on a kill by Blaum.
- Cacciatore had a big set with seven kills and a .700 hitting percentage.

FOURTH SET NOTES (Arcadia 25, Widener 14)
- The Knights took an early 4-1 lead and held the Pride at arms' length through the early portion of the set.
- Down in the midway portion of the frame, Widener battled back, scoring five of seven points to pull to 17-11. Arcadia responded, netting eight of the final 11 to claim the set.
- Lambert led the defensive charge in the frame with four digs.
