CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University women's swimming team turned in strong performances as the Pride split a double-dual home meet, downing Hood 185-69 and falling to Messiah 158-103.
Jill Bujanowski led the Blue and Gold for the afternoon with wins in the 100 and 200 fly, clocking in at 58.99 and 2:14.49 respectively.
Angelina Franceschini took first place in the 200 free with a time of 2:03.02. She was also third in the 100 yard event, touching the wall in 56.58.
Kaylin Augustine won the 100 free in 56.11.
Sammy Grogan claimed the top spot in the 200 breaststroke with a 2:35.6 clocking.
Widener returns to action next Saturday, November 10 when it hosts Immaculata at 1:00 p.m.
