CHESTER, Pa. –
Sammy Grogan won three individual events as the Widener University women's swimming team topped the Albright Lions 189-73 on Saturday.

Sammy Grogan led the Pride with three event wins. She took first in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, clocking in at 1:13.15 and 2:35.96 respectively. She also won the 200 IM in 2:23.50.

Angela Franceschini won the 200 free with a time of 2:02.72. Later she took the 100 yard event, touching the wall in 56.07.

Emma Reistle claimed the top spot in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.08. She also won the 500 free in 5:26.26.

Jill Bujanowski touched the wall first in the 200 fly with her 2:16.38 clocking before winning the 100 fly in 1:00.76.
Kaylin Augustine won the 50 free in 25.95. She also swam the lead leg of the 400 free relay where she was joined by
Lauren Griffith, Franceschini, and Bujanowski to finish in 3:50.42.

The 200 medley relay squad of Reistle, Bujanowski, Franchesini, and Augustine also took the top spot in 1:55.52.

Widener is back in action on Saturday, November 3 when it hosts Hood and Messiah in a double-dual meet.
