CHESTER, Pa. – Behind a career-high tying 12 kills from 
Kelsey Lee, the Widener University women's volleyball team enters the postseason on a high note with a thrilling 3-1 victory against Arcadia on Senior Night from the Schwartz Center. Prior to the match, 
Natalie Winn, 
Nicole Dorman, and Lee were honored for their four years of service to the women's volleyball program.
 
BY THE NUMBERS
	- In addition to her team-high 12 kills, Lee also hit .579 for the match.
- Dorman recorded her fifth double-double of the year with 11 kills and 12 digs.
- Ashley McAfee led the Pride with 19 digs.
- Sydney Nichols had 23 assists.
- It was Widener's first win against the Knights since October 7, 2015.
- The 16 wins are the most for women's volleyball since the 2013 season.
FIRST SET NOTES (26-24)
	- The Blue and Gold held strong early and started to pull away, using a 6-1 run to take an 18-11 lead.
- Arcadia stormed back, scoring 13 of the next 16.
- Down set point at 24-21 and receiving, a kill by Claire Kaufmann and three attack errors by the Knights swung the tide and put Widener up 25-24 before Dorman ripped one onto the right line for the closing kill.
- Lee did a majority of her damage in the opening frame with six kills and a .750 hitting percentage.
SECOND SET NOTES (29-27)
	- In a reversal from the first set, the Knights jumped out early and extended to a 15-7 lead.
- The Pride rallied and went on a 13-2 run to take a 20-17 edge.
- After Arcadia tied the set at 23-23, Widener scored to take set point. From there each team scored two in a row before the Knights took a 27-26 lead. A kill by Dorman, an attack error, and a block by Dorman and Natalie Winn gave WU the set and a 2-0 lead in the match.
- Dorman posted five kills in the set.
THIRD SET NOTES (9-25)
	- Arcadia came out with a vengeance. Leading 8-6, the Knights ripped off seven points in a row.
- Widener started to claw back and got to 17-9 before AU scored the final eight of the frame.
- Arcadia hit .500 and had five aces.
FOURTH SET NOTES (25-20)
	- Neither team was able to take command early as with the set tied at 3-3, the squads traded points before Widener scored three in a row to go up 12-10.
- The Knight responded taking a 17-16 lead before the Pride battled back to score four straight.
- Leading 21-19, the Blue and Gold put the game away, using a block by Shelby Motz and Winn to come up with the winning point.
- The Pride hit .433 in the final set with 13 kills in 30 swings with no errors.
