LANCASTER, Pa. – The Widener University women's swimming team competed in its first multi-team meet of the season, taking part in the Franklin & Marshall Quad with the University of Mary Washington and York (Pa.) on Saturday.

Several members of the Pride had strong meets on Saturday.
Jill Bujanowski turned in the highest individual placement with third place finishes in the 100 and 200 fly, clocking in at 1:00.86 and 2:14.88 respectively.

A pair of newcomers gave Widener a lift.
Emma Reistle was fourth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.25 before placing fifth in the 200 back at 2:17.49. Angela Franchesini ranked fourth in the 200 fly at 2:2042 and fifth in the 1,000 free at 11:36.22.

Sammy Grogan placed fourth in the 200 breaststroke at 2:38.27 and was fifth in the 100 breaststroke with her 1:13.39 clocking.
Kaylin Augustine was fifth in the 200 free at 2:04.55. The 200 medley relay squad of Reistle, Bujanowski, Franchesini, and August placed third with a time of 1:55.76.

Widener returns to action on Saturday, October 27 when it hosts Albright at 1:00 p.m.
