ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Widener University women's volleyball team battled tough early before falling to the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen 3-0 on Wednesday night by set scores of 24-26, 8-25, 21-25.
 
BY THE NUMBERS

• Claire Kaufmann led the Pride with nine kills. Nicole Dorman posted six. Kaufmann also hit .643 for the match.
• Sydney Nichols posted 17 assists. Ashley McAfee had 11 digs.
• In the opening set, Widener found itself down five points early before rallying to tie the frame at 14-14. The Pride eventually pulled ahead and was up 23-20 before the Dutchmen rallied to win five of the last six points to claim the stanza.
