Madi Radnoff led the Pride with three shots, two of them on goal.
Gianna Perna contributed two shots, while
Kelsi Walker and
Jackie Daniels each had a shot on goal. The WU attack was strong in the second half, but could not find the back of the net because of solid goalkeeping.
Up next, Widener field hockey returns home for a pivotal conference matchup against Lebanon Valley on Saturday, October 20. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
