Boxscore CARLISLE, Pa. - The Widener University women's soccer team battled Dickson College on Wednesday night, losing the match 1-0 in overtime. 

Defenses on both sides stood strong for 90 minutes. Delaney Sabath made spectacular stops throughout the night, particularly towards the end of regulation. The freshman keeper made seven saves. Her efforts in goal allowed the Pride to force overtime. A Dickinson goal two minutes into the first overtime period ended the match. Brielle Errico and Cali Capetola each tallied a shot. 

Up next, the Pride return to Quick Stadium on Saturday, October 13 for a Homecoming match against Lycoming. Opening tap is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
