CHESTER, Pa. –
Devan Rimmer scored a team-high 16 points, but the Widener University women's basketball team fell to Lycoming 64-49 in a MAC Commonwealth contest on Saturday afternoon.

Tied at 13-13 midway through the first period, Lycoming used a 13-0 run in the final five minutes of the frame to take a double-digit lead. After the advantage was built to as many as 15, the Pride battled back, using a 9-0 spurt to end the half.

Opening the third quarter, Widener continued its run, cutting the edge to 30-27 at the 7:04 mark The Warriors regained their footing to reestablish a 42-33 lead before the Blue and Gold used another run to chop the lead to 44-39 early in the fourth. Lycoming was able to recover and pulled away down the stretch to cement the final.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Rimmer added six rebounds to her 16 point total.
- Allison Gallagher and Kyra Schenk had eight points each while pulling in 10 and nine rebounds respectively.
- Madison Ireland contributed with six assists and seven rebounds.
