SAN JUAN, P.R. – The Widener University women's volleyball team wrapped up play at the Puerto Rico Clasico on Sunday with a pair of matches. The Pride fell to Dickinson and Wilkes by identical 3-0 scores.
DICKINSON 3, WIDENER 0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-15)
The Pride was led on the attack by
Nicole Dorman who notched seven kills while also recording three blocks.
Ashley McAfee topped Widener with 12 digs.
Sydney Nichols was the top setter for the Blue and Gold with 11 assists.
WESLEY 3, WIDENER 0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-13)
Widener saw a pair of strong performances on the offensive end against the Wolverines as
Claire Kaufman had seven kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Dorman led the Blue and Gold with nine kills while hitting .259. McAfee collected 11 digs for the match while Nichols had 25 assists.
Natalie Winn contributed with four blocks in the match.
