ASTON, Pa. – The Widener University women's volleyball team completed play on the final day on competition at the Knights Invitational on the campus of Neumann University on Saturday. The Pride fell 3-1 to Haverford before dropping a 3-2 heartbreaker to Moravian. For her efforts in the two days,
Nicole Dorman was named to the All-Tournament Team.

HIGHLIGHTS VS. HAVERFORD
- On offense, Dorman led the Pride with 16 kills, followed by Claire Kaufman with 11.
- Dorman also recorded her sixth double-double of the season, recording 12 digs. She was one of four Pride players to have 10 or more digs as Ashley McAfee had 21, Sydney Nichols had 15 and Kayla Ewart had 14.
- Nichols also notched a team-high 32 assists.
- The Blue and Gold won the opener 26-24, rallying from an early 9-5 deficit to come back before winning the final three points to claim the set.
HIGHLIGHTS VS MORAVIAN
- Kaufman had a sterling match against the Greyhounds, delivering 13 kills against just one error in 20 attacks, good for a .600 hitting percentage.
- Dorman led the Pride with 14 kills in the contest. She also had five blocks and nine digs.
- McAfee led Widener players in double figures with 22 digs. Ewart had 16 and Nichols had 14.
- After dropping the first set, the Blue and Gold won the second set 25-13 and took the third 25-16 behind hitting .267 and .300 respectively while holding Moravian to -.024 and .027 in those sets,

The Pride makes a trip to Reading, Pa. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 when it takes on Albright. Opening serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
