CHESTER, Pa. – Nicole Dorman combined for 23 kills in a pair of contests, but the Widener University women's volleyball team was upended 3-0 by Cabrini and 3-1 by Stockton in a tri-match on Saturday.
 
HIGHLIGHTS AGAINST CABRINI

• Dorman had 13 kills and hit .303 for the match.
• The Pride hit .258 as a team in the final two sets.
• Sydney Nichols had 21 assists while Ashley McAfee led the team with 13 digs.

 
HIGHLIGHTS AGAINST STOCKTON

• Widener won the first set 25-22. With the set tied at 4-4, the Pride ripped off six of the next seven points to take a 10-5 lead. The Osprey rallied to tie the set at 20-20 before the Blue and Gold went on a 5-2 run to claim the opening frame.
• Nichols recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 22 assists and 11 digs.
• Dorman led the Pride again, this time with 10 kills.

Widener returns to action on Tuesday, October 10 when it hosts Messiah in a MAC Commonwealth match. Opening serve from the Schwartz Center is set for 7:00 p.m.
