READING, Pa. – The Widener University women's swimming team won its second straight meet to open the season, downing the Albright Lions 204-52 on Saturday.

The Blue and Gold swept all 14 events on the day with several multiple winners.
Christine Kunzler,
Jill Bujanowski, and
Lauren Griffith each had two relay and two individual event victories in the meet. The trio was involved with both relay wins, teaming with
Sammy Grogan in the 200 free relay and
Kaylin Augustine in the 400 free relay to win in times of 1:54.02 and 3:45.96 respectively.

Kunzler also claimed the 50 and 100 freestyles, clocking in at 24.70 and 55.03. Griffith won the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events with times of 1:05.26 and 2:22.51. Bujanowski claimed the 100 butterfly in 1:00.79 before winning the 200 IM in 2:18.65.

Widener returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 4 when it hosts Messiah and Hood at the Schwartz Center. Meet time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
