GLENSIDE, Pa. – Doug Kunkle and Logan Musselman each scored a goal as the Widener University men's soccer team battled to a hardfought 2-2 draw against the Arcadia Knights in a MAC Commonwealth match on Tuesday evening.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• After conceding a goal within the first four minutes of the contest, the Pride stormed back, netting the equalizer in the top of the 11th minute. John Colbert sent a corner kick into the mixer where it was headed into the back of the net by Kunkle, knotting the game at 1-1.
• Trailing 2-1 at the half hour mark, Widener struck again as this time Musselman turned in an excellent individual effort, dribbling into the box and beating the keeper to the short side.  
• The Blue and Gold was able to record a pair of shots in the second overtime, but the first one, coming off the foot of Kevin McKenna, was saved before Nick LeFevre's attempt was blocked.

 
BY THE NUMBERS

• Both teams had their share of shots as Arcadia took 29 while Widener had 23.
• Danny Thompson made nine saves for the Pride.
• Musselman and Colbert are now tied for the team lead with seven points.
