RADNOR, Pa. (Jan. 14, 2017) – By recording a first-place finish in every single event, the Widener University women's swimming team registered two convincing victories in dual meet competition against host Cabrini and Wilkes on Saturday afternoon. The Pride defeated the Colonels, 168-27, and registered a 160-43 win over the Cavaliers.
Widener was led by junior
Christine Kunzler (Livermore, Calif.) and freshman
Jill Bujanowski (Edgewater Park, N.J.), as each swimmer won two individual events and swam on a first-place relay. Kunzler captured the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events in times of 25.08 and 55.05 seconds, respectively, while Bujanowski won the 200 IM in 2:19.57 and the 200 backstroke in 2:19.19.
Freshman
Nikki Mowry (Millersville, Pa.) also factored into two winning performances by taking the 1000 free and 500 free in times of 11:21.52 and 5:35.62. The 400 medley relay clocked in at 4:18.22 and the 400 free relay hit the wall in 3:49.90. Relay members included freshman

Widener (9-1, MAC 6-1) will return to action to compete against Swarthmore away on Sunday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m.
