ANNVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 8, 2016) - The Widener University men's soccer team fought hard but fell to Lebanon Valley in double overtime by a 1-0 decision on Saturday at Herbert Field.
The only goal of the match was scored by Jake Kline in the 105th minute with an assist coming from John McHale.
Senior Dave Sousa (Springfield, Pa) recorded four saves for the Pride, while the Dutchmen's Cam Avery turned away one shot.
Widener (2-8-1, MAC Commonwealth 0-2) will return home on Tuesday, Oct. 11 to compete against Albright at 7:00 p.m.
