Women's Basketball Falls on the Road to Conference Foe Lebanon Valley

Women's basketball fought hard in the Commonwealth battle, but was unable to come away with the victory as Widener fell to Lebanon Valley, 78-59 in Annville, PA.
 
Junior Ally Ferrucci (Vineland, NJ) recorded a team high 16 points in the game. She shot four-of-ten from the field and an impressive seven-of-eight from the free throw line. The guard added three assist, two rebounds and one steal against the Dutchmen.
 
Kristina Reiter (Sewell, NJ) added 11 points for the Pride in 32 minutes played. The senior shot three-of-six from three-point range and two-of-two from the charity line. Reiter added three assist, three rebounds, and two steals in the Commonwealth match-up.
 
Taylor Umbrell recorded a double-double in the victory for Lebanon Valley (14-7, 6-7 CC). Umbrell finished with 18 points and ten rebounds. She added seven assist, three steals and two blocks.
 
Widener (9-13, 3-10 CC) recorded 20 points in the paint and 16 points off of 18 turnovers. The Pride shot 32.2% from the field and 75% from the free throw line against Lebanon Valley.
 
Junior Brianna Wylie (Mount Laurel, NJ) added eight points and two rebounds for the Pride. She finished with two steals and shot four-of-six from the field.
 
The Pride will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to take on Hood in Frederick, MD at 6:00 pm in Commonwealth Conference action.
