Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Men's Basketball Falls to Commonwealth Conference Leader Lycoming

Men's basketball fought hard, but was unable break-up the hot play of Commonwealth Conference leader as Widener fell to Lycoming, 63-52 at the Schwartz Center.
 
Sophomore John Fender (Wallingford, PA) recorded a game high 18 points and eight rebounds for the Pride. The guard shot three-of-six from three point range and added one steal.
 
Mark Pryzbylkowski (New Egypt, NJ) added 13 points in the game against Lycoming. The senior guard shot five-of-ten from the field with three shots made from behind the arc. He added three steals and one assist.
 
Malcolm Covington led Lycoming (15-6, 10-2 CC) with 15 points and three steals. The guard finished six-of-six from the charity line. Nykolas King added 14 points and eight defensive rebounds for the Warriors.
 
Widener (9-12, 2-10 CC) received 12 points from junior David Nicholson (Odenton, MD).He shot five-of-six from the free throw line.
 
The Pride will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Annville, PA to take on Lebanon Valley in Commonwealth action at 4:00 pm.
