Gallagher Scores Career High as Women's Basketball Earns Fourth Straight Win

Freshman Allison Gallagher (Souderton, Pa) recorded a career high for Widener as women's basketball defeated Lebanon Valley, 75-68, at the Schwartz Center.
 
The guard recorded 26 points and four rebounds in the victory for the Pride. She shot ten-of-16 from the field and two-of-four from three point range. Gallagher added one steal and one assist in the Widener's fourth straight victory.  
 
Senior Courtney Colella (Cinnaminson, NJ) recorded a double-double with 16 rebounds and 11 points. Out of 16 rebounds, 13 of them came on the defensive glass. She added two blocks and one steal in the victory.
 
Kristina Reiter (Sewell, NJ) added ten rebounds, as Widener (8-6, 2-3 CC) outrebounded the Dutchmen, 40-34. She recorded three points and one assist as the Pride earned their fourth straight victory.
 
Junior Taylor Umbrell recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds for Lebanon Valley (10-3, 2-3 CC). Kaitlyn Van Tash added a team high 18 points for the Dutchmen.
 
Junior Ally Ferrucci (Vineland, NJ) added 15 points and a team high eight assists for Widener.
 
The Pride will look to make it five straight as they host Hood on Saturday at 1:00 pm in Commonwealth action at the Schwartz Center.
