Sambo Records Double-Double as Men's Basketball Falls to Lebanon Valley

Freshman Sardayah Sambo (Middletown, DE) recorded a double-double for Widener as men's basketball fell to Lebanon Valley, 66-65, at the Schwartz Center.
 
The guard recorded a team high 18 points and ten rebounds for the Pride. He shot seven-of-15 from the field and four-of-five from the free throw line.
 
Forward Greg Lawson (Mount Holly, NJ) added 16 points against Lebanon Valley. The senior recorded nine rebounds, as Widener (9-5, 2-3 CC) outrebounded the Dutchmen 41-22. Lawson shot four-of-nine from the field and eight-of-16 from the free throw line.
 
Lebanon Valley (10-4, 4-1 CC) was led by freshman Andy Orr with 21 points. He added two blocks and four rebounds for the Dutchmen. Lebanon Valley recorded eight points off of turnovers.
 
Senior Mark Pryzbylkowski (New Egypt, NJ) added 11 points and one assist for Widener.
 
The Pride will be back in action on Saturday at 3:00 pm when they host Hood in Commonwealth Conference action at the Schwartz Center.
