Results Team ScoresWidener women's and men's swimming closed out the home schedule on a positive note with each defeating Cabrini at the Schwartz Aquatics Center.

The women defeated the Cavaliers, 154-92, while the men were victorious over Cabrini, 162-62.

The Pride received a victory early on in the meet in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.35. The relay was comprised of juniors
Annie Walker (New Castle, DE) and
Erin Neugebauer (Eden Prairie, MN), sophomore
Melaney Heald (Georgetown, DE) and freshman
Christine Kunzler (Livermore, CA).

Walker earned a first place finish in the 100 yard backstroke and a second place finish in the 50 yard freestyle. She recorded a time of 1:03.29 in the 100 yard backstroke and 26.65 in the 50 freestyle. Kunzler won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.64. She also won the 100 yard freestyle in 56.11.

Neugebauer won the 100 yard butterfly with just under three seconds to spare in a time of 1:03.98. She also won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.99.

Heald finished third in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 59.10.

On the men's side, the 200 yard medley relay comprised of junior
Andy Madore (State College, Pa), sophomores
Michael Grajek (Freehold, NJ) and
Ian Gaynor (Donegal, Ireland) and freshman
Evan Perkowski (Waynesboro, Pa), won with a time of 1:40.41.

Madore earned a victory in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:23.34.

Gaynor won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 21.08.

Vadim Belogorodsky (Huntingdon Valley, Pa) won the 1000 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle. In the 1000 yard freestyle, he recorded a time of 10:43.92. In his final race as the Schwartz Aquatic Center, the senior finished the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.86.
