Taylor's Jump Leads Men's Soccer to Victory Over Cabrini


Junior Eric Taylor (Bensalem, Pa) scored late in the first half and it was enough as Widener defeated Cabrini 1-0 at Leslie C. Quick Stadium.
 
Junior Tori Remondelli (Point Pleasant, NJ) crossed the ball into box to find a leaping Taylor for the opening goal of the match in the 30th minute.
 
Remondelli recorded his second assist of the season. The junior led the team with three shots on the night.
 
Sophomore Dave Sousa (Springfield, Pa) record two saves in his third victory of the season.
 
Widener (3-1-1) had seven shots against the five taken by Cabrini (3-3).
 
The Pride host Penn State Brandywine under the lights in the next match on Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Leslie C. Quick Stadium.
