Baseball Announces Schedule Changes for This Week

Widener's baseball team has announced two schedule changes for the week.

Monday's game against Eastern has been postponed and will be made up Wednesday, April 9 at 3:30 pm in Chester, PA. The game against Misericordia originally scheduled for that date has been postponed and no make-up date was announced.

Widener (14-9, 8-4 CC) got great hitting and pitching over the weekend in notching a three-game sweep of Stevenson to move into third place in the Commonwealth Conference. Freshman Michael Elfreth (Washington Twp., NJ) continues to lead the team with a .424 batting average and junior Robert Barth (Norristown, PA) is 4-1 on the mound with a 2.42 ERA.
