Baseball Postponed Saturday at Alvernia

Widener's Commonwealth Conference baseball doubleheader at Alvernia was postponed by rain and will be made up Monday, March 31 at 1:00 pm in Reading, PA.

Widener (10-7, 4-3 CC) was handed a 10-3 in Friday's opener of the three-game series. Freshman Michael Elfreth (Washington Twp., NJ) leads the team with a .448 batting average and 19 hits. Senior Michael Riverso (Philadelphia, PA) is second with a .375 average and junior Robert Barth (Norristown, PA) sports a 4-1 record.
