Volleyball Wins Two at the MAC Crossover

Volleyball won both of its matches in the Middle Atlantic Conference Crossover, defeating FDU-Florham and Delaware Valley at the Schwartz Center.
 
Widener (4-15) defeated FDU-Florham in opening match of the day in five sets (18-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-14, 15-10).
 
The Devils (14-14) recorded a .000 hitting percentage with six kills and six errors on 47 total attacks in the fourth set.
 
Brooke Ruditys (Upper Chichester, Pa) led the Pride in kills with 20. The sophomore recorded six errors on 56 total attacks for a hitting percentage of .250.
 
Sophomore Sabrina Barberi (Media, Pa) recorded 46 assists and 14 digs to go with five kills.
 
In the second match of the day, the Pride swept Freedom Conference opponent Delaware Valley in three sets (25-13, 25-20, 25-16).
 
The Aggies (3-14) could find any momentum as they were held to less than .100 hitting percentage in all three sets.
 
Senior Victoria Miller (West Chester, Pa) recorded a team high 13 digs in the three set sweep.
 
Kaitlin Schnalzer (Bethlehem, Pa) recorded a hitting percentage of .471 with nine kills and one error on 17 total attacks. The senior finished with a combined 16 digs in two matches on the day.
 
Widener will take the court on Wednesday as it hosts Arcadia at the Schwartz Center in Commonwealth Conference action at 7:00 pm.
