Women's Soccer Drops Road Match to Lebanon Valley

Widener fought hard against a tough opponent, but fell to Lebanon Valley 7-0 in Commonwealth Conference play in Annville, Pa.
 
Freshman Eva Reyes (Cranbury, NJ) led the Pride with three shots, including two on net.
 
The Dutchmen opened the scoring in the third minute with the first of three goals from Sammy Bost. The shot off the crossbar gave Lebanon Valley (12-2-1, 4-1 CC) an early advantage.
 
Bost scored again the 32nd and 50th minutes for her 13th and 14th goals of the year. Rachel Cummings added two goals in the second half for the Dutchmen.
 
Junior Olivia Pfautz (Ephrata, Pa) recorded four saves in 45 minutes.

Sophomore Ashley Rundell (Glen Mills, Pa) recorded three saves in the second half for the Pride.

 
Widener (4-8-3,1-4-1) will honor its seniors at the home finale on Saturday as a part of the Senior Day festivities.
 
The Pride will host Albright in the home finale on Saturday at 1:00 pm in Commonwealth Conference play at Leslie C. Quick Stadium.
