Men's Soccer Rolls to 6-1 Win at D'Youville

Widener exploded for five goals in the second half and was on its way to a convincing 6-1 victory at D'Youville in Buffalo, NY.

Widener took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute when freshman Tori Remondelli (Point Pleasant, NJ) netted his first collegiate goal. That was just the beginning as senior Joe Brydges (Philadelphia, PA) scored three minutes into the second half for a 2-0 margin.

Sophomore Troy Czapor (Richboro, PA) scored twice after that with senior DJ DiPaola (Havertown, PA) and junior Matt Parrotta (Torrington, CT) getting one apiece for the Pride (1-3).

Widener is home Wednesday to face Swarthmore, beginning at 7:00 pm.
