Women's Lacrosse Falls, 15-4, at Elizabethtown

Widener ran into a formidable foe in Elizabethtown and was handed a 15-4 Commonwealth Conference loss in Elizabethtown, PA to close the season.

The Blue Jays (11-5, 5-1 CC) scored the game's first nine goals over 15 1/2 minutes as Becky Porter, Leigh Flounlacker and Emily Butler each found the back of the net twice.

Junior Julia Costello (Brookhaven, PA) scored twice and ends the season with a team-high 42 for Widener (6-9, 2-4). Senior Rachel Porter (Medford, NJ) and freshman Pinky Schneider (Moorestown, NJ) each scored, senior Jen Harnden (Hershey, PA) dished two assists and freshman Megan Dunn (Oxford, PA) made five saves.

Becky Porter had three goals and two assists, Flounlacker notched three and one, and Shelby Bruno made six saves over 30 minutes for the Blue Jays.
