Sophomores Nicole Foschini (Laurel Springs, NJ) and Jenna Pedrick (Sicklerville, NJ) scored 52 seconds apart to help Widener notched its third consecutive shutout against Lycoming, 3-0, in a Commonwealth Conference match at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.

Foschini got things rocking in the 23rd minute as she scored her second goal of the season off an assist from junior Karen Thomas (Mullica Hill, NJ).  Pedrick got her second of the season in the 24th minute with Thomas adding her team-leading fifth assist and 17th point of the year.

This capped an opening half in which Widener (5-5-1, 2-1 CC) gained a commanding 12-1 shots edge.  It finished the match with an 18-2 cushion.

Junior Victoria Batter (Woodlyn, PA) added the exclamation point in the 88th minute, scoring from 35 yards out inside the upper right corner for her first of the year.

Pedrick and Thomas had five shots apiece and senior Vanessa Hejnas (Delran, NJ) needed to make just one save for the Pride.

Sam Stropko came up with seven saves for the Warriors (1-8-3, 0-2-1).
