Men's and Women's Swimming Each Top Cabrini

Widener's women's team won all 14 races against Cabrini in a 112-93 victory and the men posted an 86-66 triumph at Schwartz Center.
 
Sophomore Jennifer Barkofski (Norristown, PA) won four times that included two individual crowns.  She took the 200-yard butterfly in 2:26.94 and the 400-yard IM in 4:58.62.
 
Barkofski was part of the 400-yard medley relay team that ended in 4:21.95 and included Laura Harris (Phoenix, MD), fellow sophomore Alicia Detweiler (Perkasie, PA) and freshman Erin Page (Arlington, VA).  She also was on the 400-yard freestyle relay squad which included Kelsey Lake (Ijamsville, MD), fellow junior Tara Strus (Glenolden, PA) and sophomore Colleen Tighe (Linwood, NJ).
 
Harris recorded three wins.  In addition to her relay, she took the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:12.10 and the 50-yard freestyle in 25.85 seconds.
 
Lake grabbed the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:15.12 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:24.59.  Sophomore Laura Farrar (Longmont, CO) captured the 200-yard freestyle in 2:02.02 and the 100-yard butterfly in 1:03.86.
 
Sophomore Kaitlin Harnish (Havertown, PA) took the 100-yard backstroke in 1:07.11 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:25.87.  Detweiler won the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:40.65 and sophomore Sara Leonelli (Vineland, NJ) captured the 100-yard freestyle in 57.86 seconds.
 
Senior Jordan Mulligan (Dingmans Ferry, PA) made his final home meet a memorable one with four victories, including two individual titles.  He won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.94 seconds and the 500-yard freestyle in 4:57.60.
 
He also was on the 400-yard medley relay which ended in 3:46.92 and included senior Charlie Schindler (Pasadena, MD), junior Michael Roth (Columbia, MD) and sophomore Michael Lawley (Philadelphia, PA).  Mulligan also was on the 400-yard freestyle relay team which closed in 3:27.93 and included Schindler, Jeff Colarusso (Hanover Township, PA) and fellow senior Matt Jenkins (Downingtown, PA).

Schindler also grabbed the 100-yard freestyle in 51.18 seconds for his third win.  Roth won the 200-yard backstroke in 2:05.20 and the 400-yard IM in 4:35.80 to total three victories.
 
Jenkins took the 1000-yard freestyle in 11:14.36, Lawley grabbed the 100-yard backstroke in 56.83 seconds and freshman Vadim Belogorodsky (Huntingdon Valley, PA) won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:55.49.
 
The teams are in action February 10-12 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  The women are the defending champions and the men have captured five of the last six titles.
