Men's Basketball Falls, 91-77, at Lebanon Valley

Widener allowed Lebanon Valley to shoot 65 percent from the floor in the first half in a 91-77 Commonwealth Conference setback in Annville, PA.
 
The Dutchmen (15-6, 6-4 CC) took control with a 26-7 run in just over eight minutes for a 43-21 lead with 5:04 remaining in the first half. Anthony Trautman scored nine points in that span and Joe Meehan added six.
 
Lebanon Valley connected on 22-of-34 shots attempted in the half, finishing the game shooting 57 percent (35-of-61).
 
Freshman Bob Makor (Philadelphia, PA) poured in a season-best 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting for the Pride (9-12, 4-6), who shot 47 percent (27-of-57) from the field. Junior Perry Wright (Severn, MD), sophomore Trey Severs (Ocean City, NJ) and freshman Andrew Radomicki (Media, PA) all scored 11 points.
 
Trautman closed with 29 points on 13-of-19 shooting, Meehan netted 19 and Danny Brooks scored 11 for Lebanon Valley.
 
Widener on Wednesday hosts Alvernia at 8:00 pm as part of our “Widener White Out.”  Pride fans in attendance will receive a free “Widener White Out” t-shirt.
