CHESTER, Pa. – Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Carideo has announced the 2026-27 schedule, featuring 25 games, including 13 contests at the Schwartz Athletic Center and a challenging slate of non-conference and MAC Commonwealth competition.
 
"Our coaching staff and players are extremely excited and looking forward to the 2026-27 basketball season," said Coach Carideo. "Throughout the offseason and preseason, we have emphasized individual improvement and player development, with the belief that when each player gets better, our team becomes stronger as a whole.
 
We understand that we face a very challenging conference and non-conference schedule, and each game will provide an opportunity for us to compete, grow and test ourselves. Our goal is to continue improving throughout the season and put ourselves in position to compete for a playoff spot.
 
If we continue to develop and improve as a team, we believe we can put ourselves in a position to pursue our ultimate goal: winning another conference championship."
 
THE 2026-27 SCHEDULE
The Pride will begin the season with a pair of tournament weekends, traveling to Scranton, Pa., for the Scranton Hilton Tipoff on November 6-7 before returning home to host the Tipoff for annual Autism Awareness on November 13-14. The month concludes with a 7 p.m. road contest at Wilson on the 24th in Chambersburg, Pa.
 
December opens with a three-game stretch at the Schwartz Center, beginning with Eastern on December 2 at 7 p.m. The Pride will then travel to Owings Mills, Md., to take on Stevenson on December 5 at 3 p.m. before returning home to host Hood on the 12th at 3 p.m. Widener will close the month with home contests against Gaulladet on December 14 at 6 p.m. and Immaculata on December 17 to close out the year.
 
The new year begins with a road matchup against Messiah in Grantham, Pa., on January 6 at 7 p.m. The Pride then return home to host Albright on 9th at 3 p.m. Widener will hit the road again on January 13, traveling to York, Pa., for a 7 p.m. matchup before visiting Neumann in Aston, Pa.
 
The Pride return to Chester for back-to-back home games against Alvernia on January 20 at 7 p.m. and Stevenson on January 23 at 3 p.m. The final week of January sends Widener on the road for contests at Eastern on January 27 in St. Davids, Pa., and Hood in Frederick, Md.
 
February will feature five games to close out the regular season. The Pride welcome Messiah to Chester on February 6 at 3 p.m. and York on February 10 at 7 p.m. Widener then travels to Reading, Pa., for a pair of contests against Albright on February 13 at 3 p.m. and Alvernia on February 17 at 7 p.m. The regular season concludes at home against Neumann on February 20 at 3 p.m.

Tickets
Digital tickets will be available for all home basketball games played at Schwartz Athletic Center in single game passes and full season passes. All fans looking to purchase general admission single game tickets can do so starting Monday (October 5) via the ticket link located on the season schedule. Fans looking to purchase a season pass will be able to do so shortly after the beginning of October.
