Widener could not overcome an early offensive explosion by FDU-Florham in a 20-6 Middle Atlantic Conference loss in Madison, NJ.

The Devils (9-3, 7-0 MAC) netted the first six goals and raced to a 14-4 halftime lead.  Kristen Schuster netted five goals in the half with Lindsay Parent and Breana Kilpatrick scoring three apiece.

Schuster ended with seven goals and Parent had four for FDU, which closed with a 31-16 shots edge.

Senior Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) scored four times with sophomores Rachel Porter (Medford, NJ) and Anna Geeter (Jackson, NJ) getting one goal each for the Pride (8-4, 5-2).  Sophomore Linda Salcedo (Media, PA) made four saves.

Widener next Wednesday opens a three-game homestand against Messiah, beginning at 4:00 pm at Edith R. Dixon Field.
