Senior Sam Baer (Lancaster, PA) scored twice and dished an assist for Widener, which netted four first-half goals en route to a 5-0 victory over Delaware Valley at the Cabrini Soccer Festival in Radnor, PA.

Widener (2-0) scored twice in the first 11 minutes and was never headed.  Freshman Meghan Nolan (Belvidere, NJ) tallied in the fourth minute off Baer's feed and sophomore Brittany Harvis (Delran, NJ) found the back of the net thanks to a pass from senior Casey LeRoy (Washington Twp., NJ).

Baer scored her goals within a four-minute span for the Pride, who enjoyed a decisive 34-3 shots edge.  Junior Caryinna Yenchak (Ashley, PA) had a goal and an assist with sophomore Brittany Balentine (Medford, NJ) getting an assist.

Senior Alee Gunter (Maple Shade, NJ) made it stand with two saves in 45 minutes.  Yenchak ended with six shots.

Elizabeth McQuillian made 14 saves for the Aggies (0-1).

Widener on Saturday battles William Paterson at 12:30 pm.
