Widener owned a decided shots advantage, but settled for a 1-1 with Immaculata at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.
Widener (10-1-2) ended with a 24-4 shots edge that included 18-2 over the second half and both overtimes. Junior Caryinna Yenchak (Ashley, PA) and sophomore Brittany Balentine (Medford, NJ) had five shots apiece.
Immaculata (5-4-3) opened the scoring in the 35th minute as Bridget Cunningham netted her team-leading seventh goal of the year off a feed from Zena Tracey.
But the Pride responded in the 76th minute. Freshman Devan Doyle (Woodbury Heights, NJ) got the ball on the right and hit Yenchak, who put a 20-yard shot inside the left post for her seventh tally of the year.
Widener outshot Immaculata 5-2 in the overtimes in seeing its unbeaten streak reach four games (3-0-1).
Freshman Vanessa Hejnas (Delran, NJ) made two saves over 65 minutes for the Pride and Jessica Gaguro had seven saves for the Mighty Macs.
Widener on Saturday hosts top-ranked Messiah as part of a doubleheader with the men's team. The women's game begins at 6:00 pm, followed by the men's contest at 8:00 pm.
