Widener saw its three-game unbeaten streak snapped with a 2-0 setback to Wilkes at Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium.

Brett Osswald opened the scoring in the 31st minute with his third goal of the year.  He took a feed in the box from Troy Gibson and headed one inside the top left corner.

The Colonels (3-2) grabbed a 2-0 cushion in the 50th minute with Greg Miller tallying his fourth goal of the year and Ed Zulkoski adding the assist.

Osswald closed with three shots and TJ Baloga made four saves.

Junior Marty Squicciarini (Lansdale, PA) totaled three saves for the Pride (2-3-1).

Widener is home Wednesday against Swarthmore, beginning at 7:00 pm.
