4/3/08 -- Seniors Rebecca Corrado (Pottstown, PA) and Tara Krasley (Collegeville, PA) each scored twice, but Widener suffered a 19-8 Middle Atlantic Conference loss at Messiah in Grantham, PA.

Corrado and Krasley each scored in the opening half, but it was not enough as the Falcons (4-3, 1-0 MAC) opened a 12-5 halftime lead.

Sophomore Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) scored once, giving her a team-leading 21 goals. Senior Kerri Schulz (Philadelphia, PA), junior Amanda Wilson (Delran, NJ) and sophomore Brittany Dippolito (Pennsauken, NJ) also tallied for Widener (2-6, 1-1).

Jackie Dando and Kara Geiman each scored five goals for Messiah.

Widener is home Saturday on Senior Day against Manhattanville, beginning at 2:00 pm.
