4/23/08 -- Widener could not overcome two home runs and five RBI from Matt Barrett (Pennington, NJ) in a 14-5 loss to eighth-ranked TCNJ.
Barrett collected three hits out of the number nine spot in the order. He cracked an opposite-field two-run homer to right field in the fifth inning and a three-run, 400-foot shot to center field in the sixth.
Vince Mazzaccaro and Rich Gawlak also had three hits for the Lions (27-6), who rapped 21 hits in their fourth straight win. Dan Ramos-Dominko (3-2) had seven strikeouts, yielding two runs and six hits over seven innings.
