4/22/08 -- Widener in its penultimate home game of the season was handed a 17-4 Middle Atlantic Conference loss by Elizabethtown at Edith R. Dixon Field.
The Blue Jays (10-4, 7-1 MAC) raced to a 10-2 halftime lead as Katie Foley, Anna Ford, Megan Byrnes, and Stephanie Kreis each scored two goals.
Kreis ended with five goals and Kelsea Kozak added two and two assists for Elizabethtown, which closed with a 49-12 shots edge. Sarah Cullinan dished two assists and Jenn Hawkins totaled four saves over 55 minutes.

Keri Robinson (West Linn, OR) scored twice for the Pride (5-9, 3-4) with senior
Tara Krasley (Collegeville, PA) and sophomore
Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) netting one apiece. Freshman

Widener on Thursday hosts Neumann at 7:00 pm as part of “Breast Cancer Awareness Night.” The school will help raise breast cancer awareness and collect donations, which will be given to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
