Mike Villari against Husson closed with three hits and five RBI.
Tom DeAngelis also collected three hits, helping Widener (7-2) end with 14.
Tristan Harner (1-1) permitted no runs and two hits over six innings, facing just four batters above the minimum.
Jason Brooke against John Jay blasted a three-run homer, ending the game with four hits.
Colin McHale also launched a three-run homer for his third long ball of the year.
Richard Brovero (1-0) got the win in relief, striking out five over 4 2/3 innings.
Against Rockford, Villari rapped a two-run double during a five-run third inning and
Matt Fischer followed with a two-run single.
DeAngelis also had a hit, extending his hitting streak to six games.
Ryan Walter (2-0) continued his solid start, surrendering two unearned runs and three hits over eight innings.
Kevin Culbert yielded one hit in the ninth for his third save.
Widener on Friday closes its Florida trip against Rockford, beginning at 10:00 am.
