3/18/08 -- Senior Tara Krasley (Collegeville, PA) scored three times and sophomore Jackie Elliott (Upper Darby, PA) added a pair for Widener in a 13-8 loss to Swarthmore at Edith R. Dixon Field.

Krasley scored three times in the second half and Elliott once as the Pride (1-3) netted six during that span. But Swarthmore (4-2) opened a 9-2 halftime lead thanks to three goals from Emily Evans.

Evans and Abbe Muller closed with four goals apiece for the Garnet, who posted a 37-24 shots edge. Amy Vachal netted a pair and Susannah Blair made 12 saves.

Junior Grace Cavanaugh (Voorhees, NJ), senior Kerri Schulz (Philadelphia, PA) and freshman Calina Walz (Medford, NJ) each scored for the Pride.

Widener on Thursday visits Eastern for a 4:00 pm contest.
