Junior Marty Squicciarini (Lansdale, PA) made 12 saves and senior Kyle Leahy (Baltimore, MD) scored midway through the second half for Widener in a 1-1 draw at Cabrini in Radnor, PA.
Squicciarini made five saves in the extra sessions, including three in the second overtime for Widener (3-4-3).
Leahy netted his first goal of the season in the 67th minute for the tie. Freshman Preston Dudley (Grasonville, MD) lifted a free kick from 40 yards and Leahy headed it home.
Evan Hanauer scored for the Cavaliers (5-2-2) in the 31st minute on a header off a feed from Andrew Jacobs. Bryan Johnson made five saves and Hanauer took six shots.
