10/6/07 -- Freshman Brian James (Perkasie, PA) scored 1:25 into the second overtime, lifting Widener to a 1-0 Commonwealth Conference victory at Lycoming in Williamsport, PA.

Senior Frank Nolan (Hatboro, PA) help set up the game-winner with a crossing pass in front. James was there and knocked it home for his third goal of the year, lifting Widener (7-5, 1-0 CC) to its fourth victory in five outings.

The Pride ended the extra sessions with a 3-0 shots edge and led 13-9 overall. Brian James and older brother Bill James (Perkasie, PA) each closed with three shots.

Sophomore Marty Squicciarini (Lansdale, PA) made three saves in helping Widener to its seventh shutout of the season.

Ryan Humphreys made four saves for the Warriors (8-3-1, 0-1).

Widener on Monday visits Neumann for a 4:00 pm start.
