10/23/07 -- Senior Jaime Carr (Norristown, PA) had a goal and an assist, helping Widener to a 3-2 victory at Neumann in Aston, PA.

Junior Erica Rose (Plymouth Meeting, PA) lifted Widener to a 1-1 tie in the 23rd minute with her ninth goal of the season off Carr's assist. Arlene Lowthert (Prospect Park, PA) netted her first of the season off a pass from fellow senior Mallory Meyer (Lansdowne, PA) in the 33rd minute for a 2-1 Pride lead.

Carr's unassisted marker in the 56th minute, her team-leading 20th goal of the year, made it a 3-1 contest and propelled Widener (12-4) to its fourth victory in seven outings.

Sophomore Kelly Eash (Glenolden, PA) had seven shots and freshman Megan Purcell (Perkasie, PA) made four saves for the Pride.

Kerri Sinclair and Amanda Biagi each scored for Neumann (7-12).

Widener returns to action Thursday for a Commonwealth Conference match at No. 10 Messiah, beginning at 4:00 pm.
