Sheri Greenly is in her eighth year as an assistant coach with the Widener volleyball team. She assists head coach Donovan Anglin with all aspects of the program and primarily oversees the Pride defense.

As a collegiate student-athlete, Greenly competed for four seasons at Elizabethtown and helped the program win the 2007 Commonwealth Conference title before making trips to the championship game of the league’s postseason event in 2008 and 2009. She also played on the softball team for two seasons.

Off the court, Greenly served as Class President during her junior and senior years after serving as Vice President of her graduating class as a sophomore. She was also honored with the Deans Scholarship as well as the Riddle Memorial Scholarship as an undergraduate student. Furthermore, Greenly shadowed physical therapists at two locations and was also a volunteer at the Shirley Nolt, Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association in Grantville.

Greenly was also recently inducted into the Aston Sports Hall of Fame in 2014 for all of her achievements in her hometown, which included being involved with baseball, softball, volleyball, field hockey and cheerleading dating back to 1993. As a volleyball player at Sun Valley, she made the all-county second team and helped the program win three consecutive conference championships.

Greenly graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology-allied health from Elizabethtown in 2010 and was a Dean’s List student. She has also received her doctorate at Widener’s Institute for Physical Therapy Education.
