Ryan Weaver enters his second year in 2025-26. The '24 alumnus returned to Widener will serve as the Athletic Communications and Operations Assistant.
The 2024 graduate from Widener spent the past two years working within the Widener Athletic Communications Office as a student staff member, tasked with graphic design and event operations. Weaver's graphic design talent showcased the various awards the Widener student-athletes received along with miscellaneous department templates. On the events side, he helped ensure a smooth event with statistic tracking and event running.
During his four years with the Pride, he was a member of the baseball team as an infielder. Throughout his collegiate career he would register 121 putouts and only hold one error. At bat Weaver was credited with 19 career hits, 11 runs scored, and 11 runs batted in. His best season was his senior year where he started in 22 of the 23 games played and held the majority of his statistics.
Weaver began his time with Aramark at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia in May of 2023 and currently works there. He serves as a Concessions Supervisor where he oversees concession stands for Citizens Bank Park hosted events and ensured a cohesive communication line between his managers and the staff working within the concession stand to make sure all rules and regulations were being followed.
The Coatesville, Pa. native earned his bachelor's degree in sports and event management from Widener University in 2024.
