Jonathan Rouse

    Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Jonathan Rouse enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Widener University men’s soccer team. He is responsible for assisting head coach Brent Jacquette with all aspects of the program with an emphasis on the training and development of the goalkeepers.
 
Rouse was a four-year letterwinner for the Pride between 2012 and 2015. He most notably had a breakthrough senior campaign in his senior campaign by setting a school record for best goals against average in a season (0.72) and blanking four opponents. Off the field, the former goalkeeper also served as the Co-Chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
 
A native of New Freedom, Pa., Rouse is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Widener and enjoys listening to country music and traveling in his free time.
