Anthony Tarsatana

    Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Anthony Tarsatana is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Widener men’s soccer team. He is responsible for assisting head coach Brent Jacquette with all aspects of the program.
 
Tarsatana brings more than two decades of coaching experience to the Pride. He has most notably served as the boys’ head soccer coach at Highland and Timber Creek Regional High Schools in New Jersey from 1992 through 2005, leading Timber Creek to its Olympic Conference National Division championship in 2003. In addition, he has been a goalkeeper trainer for the Monroe United Soccer Club and a team trainer for TBAA soccer club. He coaches and manages teams in the Washington Township Soccer Club and also volunteers on their soccer advisory board.  In addition, he holds a National E License and a New Jersey F License.
 
Aside from coaching, Tarsatana has held a variety of leadership positions in several schools in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District. He was previously a health and physical education teacher at Highland and Timber Creek Regional High Schools from 1998 through 2004 before spending the next 12 years as Vice Principal of Triton Regional High School.
 
Tarsatana, who continues to train goalkeepers privately, earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Rowan in 1995 as well as a master’s in school leadership from Wilmington University in 2004. He currently works as an assistant school business administrator for the Black Horse Pike Regional School District and resides in Washington Township, N.J.
