Ryan MacDonald enters his second season as the men’s lacrosse multimedia coordinator at Widener.
MacDonald brings over a decade of experience in video production to the Pride. He has spent the past eight years writing, directing, and producing for the Havertown-based multimedia company RiseArt Media, working with clients such as Team USA Rugby, Ed Rendell, Please Touch Museum, Audi, Sodexo, and Pearl S. Buck.
Prior to RiseArt, MacDonald served as a production resource specialist for QVC and a writer’s assistant for several major television networks in Los Angeles. He got his start working in sports media as an assistant editor for MLB Productions where he created league promo packages that premiered on ESPN.
MacDonald played Division I golf for St. Joseph’s University and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in marketing and film in 2004. He currently resides in Springfield, Pa.
