Sam Futrovsky enters his first season as assistant coach with Widener men's lacrosse team. He has previously worked as an assistant coach for the NXT Lacrosse Club and William Penn Charter High School.
Prior to being a member of the NXT Lacrosse Club and William Penn Charter High School, he was the asssitant program director and youth coach at Performance Lacrosse in Rockville, Md. During his tenure at Performance Lacrosse, Futrovsky planed practices, camps, tournaments, and was responsible for program equipment.
Futrovsky graduated from Saint Vincent College in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Anthropology. While at Saint Vincent College, represented the lacrosse team as the Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
